		<description><![CDATA[Congratulations to new Sport Pilot Jim Hoffman.  On December 12, 2011, Jim passed his sport pilot check-ride with F.A.A Examiner Louis Fields.  Shown in the photo are Jim in the left seat and Lou in the right seat as they went out to fly in Jim&#8217;s Dova Skylark N85BL.  It was a long day but Jim now has his sport pilot&#8217;s license and can now take his wife for a flight, if he can get her in the plane!  Good Job Jim, Fly Safe and Fly 4 Fun!]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[On Oct. 27, 2011 Rob Bishop completed his solo flight in the Stingsport at Franklin Field (F72).  We did a few T &#38; G&#8217;s on Rwy 27 and then Rob Flew N2UC solo around the patch for about 5 Takeoffs and Landings.  Rob will now be flying to prepare for his practical exam to obtain his Sport Pilot&#8217;s License.  Congratulations Rob!  Fly Safe and Fly 4 Fun.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[On Sept. 23, 2011 Frank &#8220;Paco&#8221; Pineiro flew solo in his Zenith 601 XL.  Paco had been training with an instructor at the Nut Tree Airport where his plane is based, however his instructor took another job which left Paco without an instructor.  Paco then began training with Flying 4 Fun on Sept. 15th.  While training at Yolo County Airport, the instructor got out and Paco flew his plane solo.  Paco later again flew solo after returning to his home airport at the Nut Tree.  Paco will continue to train to prepare for his Sport Pilot Practical Exam.  Congratulations Paco!  &#8230; <a href="http://www.flying4fun.net/2011/09/solo-flight-2/">Continue reading <span class="meta-nav">&#8594;</span></a>]]></description>

In the photo is Chico State student Tara Miller who was given the job of creating the Eagle, Globe and Anchor that you see. Stingsport owner Dennis Wade is a former U.S. Marine and solicited Tara to create a U.S. Marine Corps wall in the hangar. We think Tara did an outstanding job! Of course I am a little prejudiced since Tara is my daughter. GREAT JOB Tara, Love You More!]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Congratulations to Travis Miller who completed a grueling 4 years at Virginia Military Institute. On May 15th, Travis commissioned into the United States Marine Corps as a 2nd Lieutenant and on May 16th he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies with a minor in French. Travis will report to MCB Quantico, Va. in August for TBS. In July of 09, Travis earned his Sport Pilot License and hopes to be selected for the flight program with the Marine Corps. Parents and sister couldn&#8217;t be prouder!]]></description>
